At Belle Vernon Public Library, we believe in the power of stories, learning and community. Whether it’s a child discovering the magic of reading for the first time, someone using library computers to renew their car registration, or just our neighbors bumping into each other at one of our events — your library is here, open to all, six days a week.
But we can’t do it alone.
As a small, community-supported library, we rely on generous donors like you to keep our doors open and new material coming in. With limited public funding, your support ensures we can offer free Internet and computer access; a summer of educational and entertaining programs for children at the park; lifelong learning and engagement with both hardcover and ebooks; in concert with Westmoreland County Libraries delivery from 25 other locations; streaming options like Craftsy and Kanopy; copy, fax and scanning.
This year we’re facing increased demand for services while costs for books and supplies continue to rise. A gift of whatever you can afford will help us provide the resources our community depands on.
